Located near the northern point of the beautiful Palm Beach peninsula, Dunes Restaurant & Kiosk provides a perfect setting for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Opened in 2006, Dunes sits between Pittwater and the Pacific Ocean on 1200 square metres of manicured lawns and gardens. Our seasonal menu includes only the freshest produce in an innovative and contemporary variety of dishes, designed by our Executive Chef Troy Frater and his partner Madeleine Muhleck. Surrounded by Australian native plants, lush palm trees and filtered water views, we invite you to come and discover all the natural wonders of Dunes.
Dunes Restaurant is popular with both locals and travellers from Sydney. It has been skilfully designed to take full advantage of the idyllic surroundings and views. Several dining areas are available for all types of weather and occasions. The Dunes menu features seasonal vegetables, fresh seafood and prime meat dishes. Executive Chef Troy Frater has more than twenty years’ experience as a chef focusing on enhancing the flavour of high-quality produce by thoughtfully matching a dish’s ingredients. His cuisine encompasses Contemporary Australian Dining in combination with a touch of Japanese influence.
Using the large, open space at Dunes, there is ample room for functions of up to 120 people, in both interior and exterior areas including the very swish and attractive white Italian marquee. The marquee is available for working lunches or smaller events and is a perfect venue for fun parties or cocktail evenings. On a pleasant summer or spring night, the Kiosk, with tables and chairs on the patio and lawn, is ideal for entertaining guests - perhaps for a birthday, engagement or even a small wedding.

With our manicured gardens and surrounding natural Australian flora, we offer the perfect setting for an intimate ceremony, followed by pre-reception drinks. Or if you are looking for a larger reception, we can cater for a seated or a cocktail style event. Executive Chef and owner, Troy Frater and his team create menus to suit each couple.
